HMS DRAKE.The Royal Navy in Plymouth I have spent many a happy time in Plymouth. I was in Drake with the Royal Naval Reserve (Sunderland Division),Where I first started my Life with the RN. Before I joined the RN for real I joined up in the Reserves, and had to go to HMS DRAKE for my initial training. Even though Plymouth is so far away from home, and most of my ships were Pompey based I was and always will be a Guzz rating. Plymouth is my adopted home, though I have never been back since Antrim sailed away in April 76
