On the 5th Day of February 1970 HMS Bulwark crossed the Line

at Longitude 0855 West

When a sailor crosses the Equator for the first time, He has to go before King Neptunes Court, and be accepted by Neptune to be worthy, Great ceremony is placed on this and all new sailors are put before the great King Himself

King Neptune's bears take you to the ducking stool, where you are soaped and shaved, accept the sailors law, and are then sent unto the deep
