Originally we had the HMS Bulwark Association and a Quarterly news magazine, but due to other members of the Light Fleet Carriers (Albion and Centaur) not having an association up and running,they decided to open our association to all ships companies of the Light Fleet Carriers.

We still call our magazine the RO8, But we are now the B.A.C.A or Bulwark, Albion, Centaur, Association

Our original secretary NED Parkinson did stirling work for years, only recently times have moved on, and new blood has taken over
Really it has changed from a very professionaly run Hobby, by original members
To a professionaly run association for members by members.

Now the nitty gritty, to become a member you need to be a serving or ex serving member of the ships company, a spouse of, or connected with a Light Fleet Carrier, NAAFI, or possibly an ex-ships mascot (are you there Liver Birds?) Oh and it costs Eight Pounds per year, which includes the quarterly magazines, We have fortnightly meetings in Portsmouth, and Annual dinner dances where ever it takes our fancy
