Not really, but we were tempted. My brother came out to Malta for two weeks,to visit whilst our ship was in the harbour, Naturally he was invited on board to partake of the hospitality. Only we discovered his accomodation on shore was to say the least ropey!, So we let him kip down with us, It was difficult getting him fed as this was in the seventies he had longish hair,Visitors were not allowed onboard, so we could not take him to the dining hall, and it is illegal onboard to take food away from the galley. But we managed to get ashore most nights for a good feed and to do what matelot's do. anyone for drinkie poo's what. All went well until(Always in Malta this happens)we were ordered to sail (not expected) Well my brother was on holiday so why not sneak him a trip to Istanbul. Anyway I chickened out if going to the authorities and admitting you had illegaly got your brother on board can be considered chickening out.It turned out honesty was the best policy,so I did not get rattled
